Another low carb bread hits the shops !

The low carb loaf of bread called Livlife, was met with universal acclaim by many diabetics, when it become available around six months ago. After intensive trials by our resident Professor Emeritus err...Graham, the Livlife loaf was given the all clear. Not only does the bread taste great, a couple of slices had no major effect on BG numbers. Now we have a new kid on the block, Hi-Lo, carbs very close to Livlife. This is very goods news, because it tells me food companies are beginning to wake up to the fact, there is money to be made in a quality low carb bread product. Further good news is the loaf is around £1.40 and is available in Sainsbury's. Graham is about to commence a BG and taste trial and will be reporting back soon. Eddie

I don't think it is the optimal food , but an acceptable compromise for the people who are fine on any food which doesn't rise blood sugar too much. I have some health issues(like allergies) which are better managed when I don't eat wheat.
